This year for St George’s Day the district took part in a treasure hunt to find Baden Powell’s lost wood beads.
Groups from across the district took part, from Squirrels through to Explorers. A special badge was designed, chosen from entries submitted by young people in the district. The winners of the badge competition were Lucy and Toby, both from 1st Barton.
The district gave thanks to Richard and Sheila Good who have decided to retire from Scouting after many years as leaders and members of the district support team. They will both be missed.
