Everyone at Richmondshire District Scouts is proud to celebrate Audrey McConnell, who was awarded the prestigious Silver Wolf in March — the highest adult award in Scouting, recognising service of the most exceptional nature.

Audrey has devoted more than 50 years to Scouting, inspiring generations of young people and volunteers through her unwavering commitment, leadership and kindness. As Group Lead Volunteer for Catterick Garrison Scout Group, she has given countless hours in support of the movement and made a lasting impact on Scouting in our community.

This weekend, Audrey had the honour of attending the St George’s Day Parade at Windsor Castle, a fitting occasion to mark such an incredible achievement and celebrate a lifetime of service.

Audrey’s dedication embodies the very best of Scouting, and her Silver Wolf Award is richly deserved. We thank Audrey for her extraordinary contribution and congratulate her on this wonderful recognition.
