Over Remembrance weekend Archie, a Scout from Catterick Garrison, got to sing at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Service Children Community Choir.

Archie said:

“Going to London was amazing we got to sing in the Royal Albert Hall that was built to remember Queen Victoria’s husband who died and she was sad for the rest of her life.”

“Back stage I got a high 5 off Jack Savoretti.”

“When we were getting ready to walk out I was thinking how all the people in the hall including the king were going to love our singing. They did and they all joined in clapping with us.”

“After we finished we went back to the youth hostel and got our pj’s on and went to the common room to watch ourselves on tv. It was so cool.”
